William Kentridge
Willman Kentridge uses drawing as a tool to express ideas through cinematography. He is most known for creating films that use drawings in the process of being erased. By strategically timing each erase, he combines the modified pictures into a series of images in order to create unique short films. Following is a short film:

John Lennon
John Lennon was an artist across varying mediums. Notorious for his musical career as a "Beatle" and solo artist, John also had a wide variety of drawings. While each of his drawings has unique qualities, his style can be described as playful, eluding to simplicity, while capturing open space to form structure to his image. The following works provide examples of this style:
9-Portraits
This series of drawings focus on 9 individual self portraits of John. Although each image lacks a jaw bone line, the face is still captured. These drawings, while simple, indicate John's ability to communicate through drawing.
John Lennon had a unique style of drawing. As shown, many of his drawings us few lines and little detail, in order to capture a comprehensible picture. I found connections with his style in some of Pablo Picasso's drawings. Picasso also used few lines in order to capture an image.
While similarities can be drawn from both artists, each uses a unique and recognizable style of their own.
